Family/Teen Activities

Get ready for some serious family fun, Hawaii style! Throughout our Oahu oceanfront resort, your family vacation will be complete with beach activities like hula dancing, lei making, dive-in movies, shopping and much more. 

Aloha Friday
Beckoning drums signal the opening of our special festivities held every Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. near the waterfall in the Great Hall on the first floor. Enjoy a mini Polynesian show, hands-on lei making demonstrations, hula dancing performances, Polynesian art tattooing, and a Samoan Fire knife dancer.

Shopping
With more than 60 boutiques and shops spread throughout three floors of the hotel, shopping at the Pualeilani Atrium Shops is great fun for adults and children.  Shoppers will find Hawaiian jewelry, formal and casual attire, cosmetics and fragrances, gift items, children’s clothing, children’s toys, sundry items and fine arts.  Fine brand goods can be found at UGG Australia, Coach, Nine West, Tori Richards, Swatch, Thomas Sabo and Bree .  ABC, Products of Hawaii Too, and La Maison provide perfect solutions for gift shopping.  In addition, avid shoppers will delight in thumbing through the shops’ discount coupons in the Hyatt Shopping and Dining Guidebook.

Hyatt Regency Waikiki offers plenty of fun options to entertain your active teen! Whether they are into action and adventure or fascinated by the island culture, your teens are sure to have a blast at this Hawaii family resort.  Some of the activities offered include:
