The Colony
Inside The Colony’s open kitchen, complete with a kiawe wood-burning oven, chefs put the sizzle into a mouth-watering selection of cuts of beef. Sink your teeth into premium New York strip steak, rib eye and filet mignon, the latter with the zing of a citrusy yuzu sauce. As one of the few steakhouse restaurants in Waikiki, a la carte accompaniments range from a Big Island Hamakua Alii mushroom ragout with port demi-glace to a classic baked potato or updated trio of mashed potatoes: russet, orange sweet or purple Peruvian.  Seafood lovers will delight in Prosciutto-wrapped diver scallops, macadamia nut-crusted soft-shell crab, and three types of lobster, all of which are flown in daily from around the world. Simple sweet cold-water lobster dipped in golden drawn butter is enough to make you feel you’ve found paradise, which in many ways, is exactly what our Honolulu restaurant is.

Enjoy this new signature menu at the Colony

Ciao Mein
Two of the world’s most popular cuisines, Chinese and Italian, come together at Ciao Mein. It’s an unlikely pairing, but one that’s been winning accolades since this Waikiki restaurant opened in 1991.  Choose from Italian or Chinese dishes or “Collision Cuisine,” where both come together in dishes such as savory salmon filet glazed with hot soy bean sauce served over shiitake risotto, or spicy ginger-garlic shrimp paired with angel-hair pasta. Family-style servings are meant to be shared, and ten first-place Taste of Honolulu award-winning dishes are marked on the menu to make these favorites easy to find. They include sweet honey-glazed walnut shrimp stirred with crisp sugar snap peas and spicy wok-fried Szechuan eggplant, Bistecca di Manzo Alle Erbe, prime sirloin marinated in olive oil, basil, herbs and pine nuts before being cooked to order, as well as Raviolo Aperto, a ravioli of sea scallops sautéed with pancetta, cream and air-dried tomatoes. Nightly specials are also sure to surprise and delight.

Hyatt on the Beach
It's hard to get Waikiki's surfers and swimmers out of the water, but when they must come ashore for sustenance, they head to Hyatt on the Beach, a casual yet delicious choice of Honolulu restaurants.

The snack bar is conveniently set on Waikiki Beach, across from the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa.

Here, the quickest route to squelching hunger is with Hyatt's foot-long super hot dog, or with local-style daily specials such as sirloin meat loaf, grilled mahimahi and kiawe-broiled chicken.

Beach-goers can also hit the snack bar to cool off, whether with a frappuccino, pink lemonade or the biggest shaved ice you'll find at any snack stand or restaurant in Waikiki. This uniquely Hawaiian concoction comes in a rainbow assortment of flavors like tropical coconut, pineapple and li hing mui.

Hours:

Terrace Grille
Wake up to an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, where the main attractions are made-to-order omelett and waffle bars, featuring fluffy hot waffles and your choice of decadent strawberry, lilikoi or piña colada butter, the last of which is alcohol free (people ask all the time).
You’ll also enjoy a generous array of breakfast meats, eggs, pastries, lox, fresh fruit and salads, available every morning at this delectable Waikiki restaurant.

If you're not hungry enough for the buffet, a la carte specialties range from a crab cake Benedict to Hawaiian toast made with grilled Portuguese sweet bread.

Sit indoors in a room lined with colorful vintage aloha shirts, or opt for a seat on the sunny, open-air terrace overlooking Waikiki Beach.

When lunch time rolls around, treat yourself to island dishes of kalua pig quesadillas, crisp panko-fried shrimp or Loco Moco, a grilled beef patty on Spam fried rice, topped with two sunnyside-up eggs and gravy.

Not that brave? Opt for one of the more traditional dishes at our restaurant in Waikiki, and bite into an Angus burger or a light spa-style salmon salad.

Breakfast: 6:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., daily
